Culture Days

Culture Days, India national celebration of arts and culture, celebrates its Open ceremony in August,15, 2020! Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the free activities that will take place in our library branches this year.
Culture Days offers Khothran creative community a unique opportunity to display their talents and offers the public a wide range of interactive experiences. Examples of activities from previous years include dance, music, film, theatre, visual arts, writing and more. Artists and arts organizations who wish to be a part of Culture Days are invited to apply to participate in the free venues that Rama Bai Ambedkar Library offers in its branches.

 

Please note the following schedule in our library branches for 2023:

1. The Constitution of India written by B.R. Ambedkar was passed and adopted by the assembly. 26 January 1950 (celebrating Jan 26, 2024)
2. February 7, 2024 Rama Bai Bhimrao Ambedkar Birthday
3. April 14, 2024 Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti (celebrating April 14, 2024 in the Library)
4. July 21, 2024 Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Scholarships Award Function. On 21st July 1913, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar entered Columbia University, with the help of the Scholarship given by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III.
5. August 15, 2024 Independence Day and Foundation celebration of Rama Bai Ambedkar Library.
6. December 6, 2023 Parinirvan Divas of B.R. Ambedkar
